Usually, the cone Angle of the outer ring raceway of a single row tapered roller bearing is between 10° and 19°, which can withstand the combined action of axial load and radial load at the same time. The larger the cone Angle, the greater the ability to bear axial load. The bearing with large taper Angle, the rear code plus B, the cone Angle between 25°~29°, it can bear large axial load. In addition, single row tapered roller bearings can be adjusted during installation clearance size.
       The outer ring (or inner ring) of a double row tapered roller bearing is a whole. The small end face of the two inner rings (or outer rings) is similar, and there is a ring in the middle. The clearance is adjusted by the thickness of the ring, and the thickness of the ring can also be used to adjust the pre-interference of the double row tapered roller bearing.
       Four row tapered roller bearings, this kind of bearing performance and double row tapered roller bearings are basically the same, but than double row tapered roller bearings bear greater radial load, the limit speed is slightly lower, mainly used for heavy machinery.

This design makes tapered roller bearings particularly suitable for bearing compound (radial and axial) loads. The axial load capacity of bearings is mostly determined by the contact Angle α. The larger the α Angle, the higher the axial load capacity. The Angle size is expressed by the calculation coefficient e; The larger the value of e, the larger the contact Angle, the greater the applicability of bearing axial load.
       Tapered roller bearings are usually of separate type, that is, a tapered inner ring assembly consisting of an inner ring with a roller and a cage assembly can be mounted separately from the cone outer ring (outer ring).
